It’s an opthamologist in The Woodlands paying $18/hr
1. Bill both electronically and manually, as needed, and use all technology. and clean claims.
2. Interpret claims processing reports and apply information to produce clean claims.
3. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory billing requirements.
4. Make changes to demographic information as necessary in order to produce a clean claim.
5. Meet or exceed productivity standards in the completion of daily assignments and accurate production.
6. Must have the ability to analyze coding to assure proper billing of claim. Effective with claims follow up, denial posting /processing and appeals.
7. Request and attach required clinical documentation in accordance with third party requirements.
8. Service accounts in priority of importance, independently billing accounts with understanding of all applicable insurance and CMS regulations. Prioritizes work to maximize turnaround time.
9. Perform miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
10 . Post and interpret EOBs, resubmit and/or appeal underpaid or denied claims
11. Ability to assign CPT/ICD-10 codes from surgical/progress note
12 . Handle incoming inquiries from patients and insurance companies
