The patient was in for her 6 week postpartum exam and found that she has a bridge of tissue extending from each lower labia in the lower vagina. You can pass a Q-tip under this tissue into the vagina. She is unable to have intercourse so the doc plans to open the bridge of tissue by simply cutting it. I haven't coded this before, wondering if you had any insight on a procedure code? Thanks

The physician repairs and restores the anatomy of the opening of the vagina by excising scar tissue and strengthening the supporting tissues using tissue flaps and suturing techniques. This procedure varies greatly from patient to patient, depending on the defect to be corrected. (Lay description from Encoder Pro)

It's considered minor surgery - 10-day global.
