I'm coding 23670 for open reduction of shoulder dislocation with greater tuberosity fracture. My question is this, can I (and should I) bill separately for repair of rotator cuff? 23410 and 23412 are included in 23670, however the physician did make a separate posterior incision to repair the rotator cuff.
I'm often not sure if I can bill two procedures with edits, if there is a separate incision, as in this case.
