Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me clarify a NB weight check visit. Is the visit sent with 99202 or 99381 with Dx being P59.9.
 
This is a great question. Our offices used to bill an E&M visit with Z00.110. But now some insurances are denying the diagnosis. But we put this thru 3M and this is the icd-10 it gives us. I am interested in what others have to say. Thank you.
 
we were using Z code too but insurance denied for invalid DX so started using weight gain or weight loss with E & M cpt .
