my doctor is planning on doing a submental liposection, platysmaplasty, chin augmentation and chemical peel. i have codes,15876,15825,15789 & 15828.
i think i can bill all these together. can I? my other question is the cpt says "for bilateral rhytidectomy add mod 50" i don't understand that. could someone explain? i generally code hand/ortho and am new to plastics, so any help would be appreciated.

A rhytidectomy of the neck is usually done by making an incision in front of the ear. Modifier 50 would indicate an incision was made in front of each ear.

Incidentally, will the chin augmentation be done with an implant (prosthetic or graft)? If so, you might consider 21120.
