Anyone else having trouble getting Codes 95907-95912 and 95885-95887? denying for missing incomplete modifier. Provider own his equipment so I know it doesn't need TC/26 modifiers. Laterality mods do not apply. What the heck are they wanting? LOL ... Just started Denying these last week.

I think the only time I use a modifier on EMG/NCV is this:
Use modifier 59 on the limited EMG (95885, less than 5 muscles), if a complete EMG is done on another limb (95886, more than 5 muscles). Are you trying to bill more than one unit of 95907-95913? Can you post exactly what you billed including dx codes?

I have the same question. I billed 1 unit of each of these codes and it was denied for modifier missing. Why? 95912,95816,95885

BC/BS is the only Insurance Carrier so far that requires Laterally Modifier on CPT 95886 , in other words, there must be two lines: 95886 RT, 95886 LT
