Hello everyone:

Patient had a resection of the proximal aspect of the right prosthetic femoral stem and greater trochanter. The patient has had recurrent dislocation of the hip prothesis. I was thinking CPT code 27161, what are some of your opinions please? Thanks and have a great day! Also Happy Easter Everyone!:D
 
I also was thinking to use the Unlisted Procedure code for the Hip??? There doesn't seem to be a code for resection of the femoral stem/greater trochanter of a prothetic arthroplasty??
