Patient comes in s/p fall from bed and was not able to get up. She was feeling "out of it". She's a diabetic and thought it may have been due to hypoglycemia because she had taken her insulin w/o eating. By the time the EMS gets to her house her blood sugar is 70. There is no injury or complaints for the fall either. Would I code Z04.8 or z03.89 or E11.9 or e11.689?
 
The W codes cannot be first listed codes. If there was no injury found then use the Z04 code for other accident followed by the W code for the fall.
