I need to the know the correct code to bill cardionets.

the code 93228 is for cardionets. but my question is this the only code that can be used? I was told to use S0347 for Aetna patients, but at a seminar they said just use 93228.

and do we bill the date of service the day the doctor reads it or when the exam was done.

We bill 93237 for cardionet which is the physician review and interpretation, and you should always bill the date the monitor was worn by the patient, not the date read by the physician.
