When billing for an extended EEG, I would think that medical necessity would play a big part as you are doing a much longer EEG than normal. I also would not bill the 95819 with the 95812 unless there is significant documentation that would allow for a 59 modifier to be used as they cannot be billed together without a 59 modifier.
