I have a patient that while having a seizure fell and tore her rotator cuff.
I am having trouble finding an external cause code for this.
Can anyone help
 
Thanks s.haney86 that is what I was leaning towards. I can't believe there isn't a code for this but there is one for sucked into a jet engine. lol
 
W18.39X looks like it may work. "Other fall on same level", unless of course she fell and ended up on a different level such as falling down the stairs, off a curb, down a well, Etc. I'd go with Other over unspecified as you know why the patient fell but there isn't a specific enough code for it
