Is there a course or a book that goes into more details on how to read lab results, and differentiating what modifier a lab/pathology cpt needs to pass CCI edits?
This is for a hospital coding. Some examples: 81001 and 81002 done the same day (XU or XE modifier), 87184 and 87181 done on the same day (XU or XE modifier). Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!
