if doc removes screw from ankle in post op - do you use mod 58 or 78?
pt is 12 weeks from orif of ankle.

they are close to the 90 days so you need to see if this is still in the 90 day global if so then you will need to know if this was planned to do the removal or if it is unplanned due to a pt decision. planned is 58 and unplanned is 78. The dx code for the surgery willl be the V52/53 code for attention to orthopedic implant
