Hello all! I was given this diagnosis by one of my doctors yesterday and am curious if anyone has heard of this or coded for it. If so, what ICD 10 code did you use? Thanks for any input you can give me.
 
If I'm not mistaken, I believe a mesenterocele is a type of enterocele, which ICD-10 classifies as 'hernia, abdomen' and directs to the K46 category. Without additional information, I would code this as K46.9.
 
Thank you, Thomas! That's the area I was looking in and came up with K46.9 also, but I had never heard of it before and wanted to be sure I was coding correctly.
