Dr did a PICC placement 36568 under ultrasound guidance 76937. He accessed the vein using a Merrit mini access kit and a Nitrex Nitinol guidewire. I have not heard of this. Would I code it as a 36147 just like I would a Micropuncture?

NO, that's what he used as equipment for access. If the patient is under 5 years old, you have the correct code. However, if the patient is over 5 years old, then it 36569 and 76937.
