Hello,

I have a question regarding the high risk Medicare guidelines for an annual GYN visit--billing cpt codes G0101 and Q0091.
A patient has a recent diagnosis of high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, R87.613. The provider wants her to be seen annually, along with annual pap smears.
Looking at the Medicare guidelines, which high risk diagnosis code would I bill? The only code that seems appropriate is Z91.89.
