Per Medicare's Local Coverage Determination (LCD) policies, procedure code 11044 is not considered to be medically necessary when supported by the diagnosis codes S61300A and M1A00X1.

It's an open wound of index finger with damage to nail. I'm getting a kickback and wondering what I could use as a primary as doctor listed these 2 ICD codes? Any thoughts?
