I am wondering if anyone knows what CPT code to use for the following?

...The previous mechanical valve was inspected. it had extensive pannus in subaortic orientation that grew into the skeleton of the prosthesis. Otherwise the valve was perfectly normal. I decided it might be best to try to debride it only, and save further possible complications of removing the valve. Very carefully using 15blade and 11 blade this was done. Pt also had a subaortic membrane, and I resected that as well. Once I was done, the valve had normal function, and I decided we have solved the problem...

I would look at CPT 33496. Per CPT guidance you can also bill 33530 with this code if the valve was placed more than 1month prior to this procedure. Hope that helps!
