what code could be used for a laparoscopic pyloroplasty?

Have you looked at code 43800? I don't know if that's correct but that is the only one I see for pyloroplasty.

I believe you would have to use the unlisted laparoscopic stomach procedure code 43659 since there isn't a lap pyloroplasty code. I'm sure you already have but, just in case, make sure the doc didn't mean pyeloplasty (50544). I had a doc who used to document pyloroplasty when he meant pyeloplasty every time.

this one i am sure it was a pyloroplasty_ill keep that in mind though. I was going towards the unlisted code but wasnt sure if if i code the 43800(open) with a modifier?

ok thanks for the help- now this pt came back to OR for

Exploratory laparotomy, repair of pyloroplasty, duodenal drainage, gastrostomy tube placement, wide drainage.

DRAINS:
1. A right-sided duodenal tube to the pyloroplasty repair.
2. A G-tube in the stomach.
3. A left upper quadrant Jackson-Pratt drain.
4. A right upper quadrant Jackson-Pratt drain.
5. A Jackson-Pratt drain draining the area of the pylorus.

and now im not sure how to code the drainage-any suggestions?
