Laparoscopic repair of diaphram laceration from stabbing

Good morning,
I have a case where the patient has a diaphragm laceration from a stabbing incident, that was repaired laparoscopically. The one code that come up is 39501 - repair, laceration of diaphragm, any approach. I am confused by the wording, " any approach", it makes me think that it can also be used if done via laparoscope, however, in the description, it only describes an open procedure.
Any help/guidance is appreciated.
