Wiki Laminectomy and discectomy

My doctor did a Laminectomy and a discectomy and most are saying use code 63030, however the description of that code he feels does not describe what he did, any one have another suggestion? :(
 
Did he do a facetectomy, foraminotomy? If not, I would look at 63017 for lumbar or (63005 lumbar, except for spondylolisthesis) or 63012 for spondylolisthesis (Gill Type Procedure)
