Ace wrap applied to left foot and ankle. patient was placed in an orthopedic walking boot. Patient being referred to orthopedic surgeon due to displaced fracture Ace wrap applied to left foot and ankle and placed in an orthopedic walking boot by this nurse, patient tolerated well. Education provided to patient regarding donning, doffing and how to check extremity for adequate circulation. Patient vocalized understanding.
