What CPT code would I use when the lab is testing urine for the presence of Krokodil and Flakka?

Thanks

This is easier asked than answered, because the code is determined not only by what you tested for, but also what other things you tested for! I am going to assume you are doing definitive testing, rather than presumptive.

Look at 80362, 80363, or 80364 for Krokodil, and 80371 for Flakka. If your insurance coompany uses the Medicare codes instead, which many do, you would look at G0480-G0483. I can't narrow them down any farther than that, because ,as I said, the code depends on what other things were tested for at the same time. I hope this helps!
