Hello! Does anyone have experience with Case Management? I know it is T2023 and I know about the HE, Hf, etc. The case manager has her BS – what modifier do you use to indicate that? I am familiar with the provider types of HO, AJ, SA, AF, etc. I just don’t know what modifier I would use for her. Any thoughts?

I just answered a similar question - is your billing for target groups? ie HIV/blind/etc? Your case manager has her BS- is she enrolled with the state medicaid agency to provide targetted case management - most states have target case management programs that work with HIV+ clients to provide links and access to a variety of social services. If that is your organization - you may want to look at T1016 (T1017 in my experience is a misnomer, maybe for addiction clinics.)
