I have a physician that says when he places an IVC Filter and repositions it in the same setting you can bill both the 37191 and the 37192 but looking it up it says it cannot be billed together. Anyone know if there's another code that should be used or is this possible to bill another way?

I would not bill for repositioning. Proper placement during the initial placement is just meeting the criteria for 37191, no matter how long the procedure takes.

If the filter is disloged, and the patient has to return later, that would meet the criteria for 37192.

HTH :)
