Hello, I am hoping that you can help me with my question.
Can Microwave ablation of a liver tumor be coded as, ablation radiofrequency 47382?
Are they similar technology? Or should an unlisted code be used?
I have attached a small section of the OP note.

"after routine prep and drape, general anesthesia, and injection of local anesthesia, a microwave ablation probe introduced into segment 6 of the liver initially along the inferior posterior margin of the liver mass
Multiple overlapping treatments performed during withdrawal of the probe.

The probe was advanced more anteriorly to the lesion and multiple overlapping treatments were performed"

Thanks,
