HI
For PSG test 95811, we bill the professional component only with 26 modifier.
Should we use the date of interpretation by the MD as the DOS on the claim?

Per CPT assistant 2002, it looks like the date of test is date of service. But not sure if they are talking about global test.

"Typically, polysomnography is performed the night before the MSLT or MWT. For example, the Wednesday night polysomnography ends on Thursday morning. A few hours later, the MSLT procedure begins. Therefore, when reporting the testing performed, the actual date the polysomnography procedure was begun would be the appropriate date of service for the polysomnography (in this example, Wednesday's date). The MSLT procedure then would be reported with a subsequent date of service (in this example, Thursday's date), since this testing was indeed begun on a separate date of service'.

Thanks
