Hi everyone. I am a pathology coder biller. This is a first for me. Iron related gastritis. Am I coding K29.60 and/or am I adding the poisoning code? Not quite sure on how to go about with this one. Thank you so much!!

I would use the adverse effect code T45.4X5A as secondary for this, if the documentation is clear that the gastritis was induced by the iron supplements.
