When billing for G0453 for intraoperative neuromonitoring when does the monitoring time actually start. We are being informed that we can not bill for the baseline interpretation. But as G0453 is real time interpretation of the data during the surgical event it seems appropriate to include the baselines in the monitoring time. Can anyone clarify if the baselines can or cannot be included in the monitoring time and provide where they found this information.
