Wiki intradermal flu 90654

Just wondering if anyone knows. We are getting denials for the intradermal flu 90654 for patients over 65 stating inappropiate age. Can over 65 year olds get the intradermal flu or the "regular" flu shot 90656 or are they just suppose to get the "high dose" 90662. We got a download from vaccine info.org Thanks

Per my Medicare Immunization Billing Quick Reference information, this code can only be billed to Medicare for 18-64 year olds. Hope that helps.

if the patient is over 65 would they have MC? if so we would bille the Q2039 instead
