CPT codes 22325-22328: In the descriptor, instrumentation is not included
with these procedure codes. Also, the notes before this section state that
instrumentation procedures are to be coded separately. But when I read the description in the desk reference, the open fracture codes are described as
including "rods and hooks" . I am very confused!!! Any input on this would
be helpful.
