I am having issue with finding the correct codes for billing inpatient alcohol/drug detox for medicare patients. The codes H0009 and H0008 are not showing as billable medicare codes. Does anyone know codes HCPCS codes to bill medicare part A. or Part B.
 
I dont bill Medicare since free standing facilities are not covered by Medicare, however I would assume that Medicare would reimburse based on the rev code (in this case it would be 0126) and the DRG. You can also Bill H2036 with the 0126 rev code if you bill all inclusive per diem.
