My MAC is CGS. I'm in Ohio.

I'm billing V04.81 - 90658+90471 for all non medicare (incl Medicaid)
for medicare and medicare HMO's I'm billing V04.81 - 90468+G0008

Their all paying as of today. Hope this helps.

BCBS Billing

Everytime I bill 90658 for the flu vaccine with BCBS it is denied saying it is an incorrect procedure. Anyone else having this problem? This is how I bill it: v04.81, 90471, 90658 and G0008. What am I doing wrong? They pay on everything else. This is always in conjunction with an office visit.

90471 is the commercial equiv of G0008 (which is Medicare). They are probably denying your G code, because it is not allowable. 90471 covers the administration
