I'm looking for some assistance. I am working with an out of network medical group. Can we bill for office based surgeries without getting registered with the state? Once registered do will continue to bill POS 11 or will it change to POS 24?

This is a loaded question~ registered with the state for what? a business license? If you're a private practice, you'll bill with POS 11. An ASC does require specific licensure (and different billing).

register with the state as an office based surgery suite. We are fully licensed and have all the credentials as a medical group. Several of the claims are denying for cpt 64430 with flor injections.

We do procedures such as that Pudendal Nerve Block in our office suite and in our ASC (pending on insurance contacts). What is the denial?
