Hi, if the surgeon removes just the iliac screw what cpt code would you use? Thanks :)
 
As you haven't given more details, check 22850 (removal posterior non-segmental instrumentation), 22852 (removal of posterior segmental instrumentation) if the screw(s) were part of a prior lumbar-spinal fusion. If the screw(s) were for an old pelvic fracture, look at 20680 (removal of implant; deep [e.g., buried wire, pin, screw, metal band, nail, rod or plate].
