I am new at this ob/gyn coding. When someone has a normal vaginal delivery with no complications at 37 weeks would I use code 765.29 and V27.0? So confused!

Normal delivery is coded as 650 or 644.21 for early onset of delivery, with the V27.0 code. The 765 codes are perinatal codes used for the newborn claim indication disorders of short gestation and low birthweight.
