would like some feedback as to how much training other general surgery offices are doing for ICD-10. Are you traing the whole clinical staff or just the coders/billers

As part of our ICD 10 impementation committee, it was our decision to train everyone in the office on ICD 10 for the clinical staff we did a overview and focused on the changes in documentation specifically. And for billers an overview with more detail as it relates to billing and for the coders a very detailed training including requiring them to gain some sort of formal training from AAPC or similar.
