Wiki Hysteroscopic removal of fibroid and hysteroscopic removal of impacted IUD CPT codes

Hello,
If provider performs hysteroscopic removal of leiomyoma and hysteroscopic removal of embedded IUD can we report 58561 and 58562 together? There is no bundling edit between these two codes.
Or, would it be 58561 and 58301???
Just started Gynec procedures and it gets confusing. Any resources is greatly appreciated.

Hi, you can use both codes together. If the IUD was not embedded, but simply removed with the assistance of the hysteroscope, then you would code your second option.
