Does anyone know how to bill for a manual removal of impacted fecal matter without anesthesia? I know there is a code for "with anesthesia"... is it the unlisted code? or should it be an E/M code?

Hi,
I've always used and E/M code as long as no anesthetic is used and backed it up with the diagnosis code and make sure that your documentation is clear.
