Does anyone use this code 99512 HOME VISIT FOR HEMODIALYSIS in addition to the dialysis treatment performed in the home?
 
We do not. The only code that we use for home dialysis is 90966. End stage renal disease (ESRD) related services for home dialysis per full month, for patients 20 years of age or older. Our claims get paid with out any hiccups. Also, after reading the guidelines for 99512 it states that code applies to non physicians only.
