having difficulty with Medicare paying these with denial codes CO50 and N115. I am billing them with the POS of patients home, we have supplied them with the machine and we do the interpretation. LCD states it is covered and can have a DX of snoring R06.83. Any ideas?
 
Hi, both denials codes seem to indicate that the service is not "deemed medically necessary", so I would double check the LCD. As far as I know, no payer accepts R06.83 for sleep studies.
