Are pubic ramus fracture and acetabulum fracture billable seperately ? They are both closed treatments. The codes I am using are 27193 and 27220. I do not find any CCI edits, however medicare is denying 27220. Any suggestions ?
 
Hi,
I would bill them both. I don't see any CCI preventing it. The RVU for 27220 is higher so I would have listed it first on the claim then 27193 with a Modifier 51. What was your rejection?
