I was wondering if anyone knew what the global period for a hip core decompression is? I can't find anything that gives this information. Any help would be appreciated. I'm assuming 90 days, but I don't want to assume.
 
S2325 = XXX global period
27299 = YYY global period

The classification XXX (Global surgical rules do not apply) means that the service is truly free of global surgical bundling issues, and you can separately report services that you perform on the same date as the surgical procedure (such as E/M services).

Codes with “YYY” are contractor-priced codes, for which MACs determine the global period. The global period for these codes will be 0, 10, or 90 days.
