What CPT code should be given?
 
Did the pathologist review a pheripheral blood smear ? If so, then code 85060 is appropriate.

full report is as follows:

Report No.1 :
26 Year old presurgical patient for an L4-L5 microdiscectomy has an anti-M present. Autocontrol is negative. Crossmatch- compatible. M-negative units are approved for release and transfusion.

Blood Bank Consult ordered due to Positive Anitbody Screen.

Report 2:
Pathology Interpretation-Review
Leukoerythroblastic blood picture is noted.

Report 3:
52 year old status post right below the knee amputation with anemia has history pf anti-E and anti-e. Current screen is negative. Crossmatch compatible E-negative and c-negative units are approved for realese and transfusion as clinically inidcated.

Report 4:
Leukoerythroblastic blood picture with rare circulating blasts present.Patients history RCMD is noted.

Test ordered ny rules system.
