Any ideas on coding a pregnancy wtih exposure to radiation? I cannot find anything!? Thanks
 
Need more information. Is this exposure suspected ,or known, to be causing a problem with the mother and/or the fetus? Or is this a normal pregnancy and there just happens to have been an exposure to radiation? Was the exposure current or did it happen in the past? All these factors can effect what kind of coding might be needed to document the conditions or possible conditions. The 648 codes are saying there is a problem in the mother, but we don't know that from the statement made.
