Has anyone billed for VersaWrap Tendon Protector or a similar product? Being told from the rep this consists of a bioresorbable hydrogel sheet comprised of a thin membrane of crosslinked plant-derived polysaccharides alginate and hyaluronic acid and contains no animal derived components used to wrap an injured tendon and does not need to be sutures in place and remains in place until healing is completed and then is bioresorbed. The rep is giving us HCPCS code C9399 for use however, cannot supply a revenue code for this. I am in need of the revenue code and would also like to know if anyone has billed any insurance for this and has been reimbursed at what type rate?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

One of our surgeon's is looking into using this. Did you ever get an answer to this? I don't anticipate getting regularly reimbursed for this but it will depend on the payor.
