A surgeion did a extensive procedure on a patient. He did a
Thrombectomy of femoral artery, he then closed and a incision of the popiteal artery was done and thrombectomy was performed and incision was closed. He then proceeds to do a angiogram and treats the anterior tibial artery with a 3mm balloon. The angiogram then shows improvement but appeared to show clot in the very proximal anterior tibial artery and it also in the distal popiteal artery, therefore over the 0.012 wire a laser catheter, the Excimer 2.0 mm catheter was used for treatment of the distal pop and proximal anterior tibial.
So I would you code the 37799, unlisted for the laser!
