Our office has just recently started to see a patient for the administration of Haloperidol Decanoate 50mg.
The patient brings in the medication. Our nurse practitioner administers the medication.
The patient has commercial insurance.

I am having a hard time locating exactly which Dx to use.

Should I bill as J1631 with a Dx of the patients psychiatric Dx?

Should I bill with 96372 with a code for Haloperidol Decanoate 50mg?

If so, what is the Dx code for Haloperidol Decanoate 50mg?

Any assistance as to how I should bill this administration would be greatly appreciated.
