My quick research shows me the following codes:
E74.8 - Other specified disorders of carbohydrate metabolism
E74.9 - Disorder of carbohydrate metabolism, unspecified
G93.41 - Metabolic encephalopathy
G93.49 - Other encephalopathy
I also checked up on GLUT1 deficiency, which "is characterized by an encephalopathy marked by childhood epilepsy that is refractory to treatment", hence my suggestion to the G93.41 code, although I am not 100% sure this is correct.
E74.8/9 puts the ball in the more "Other" or "Unspecified" realm, however based on the description of GLUT1, G93.41 and G93.49, the G-codes seem more specific than the E-codes.
