A pt is status post digital nerve & partial tendon laceration repair (64831) and developes a granuloma in this area. During the 90 day global period, same operating md debrides and cauterizes w/silver nitrate sticks (17250). Can I bill the 17250 w/a 79 modifier? or would it be considered global to 64831?
